What are the start and end date for this program?

The creator partner program begins on Feb 7th 2022 and ends on May 7th 2022

How can I launch my Backstage and invite fans?
  • Once you have reached out to our team, we will work with you to setup and launch your Backstage.
  • We will also create a custom website for your where your fans can apply and join the waitlist to become a part of your Backstage - you can approve these fan requests from within the app.
  • You can visit David’s website here as an example - https://wallimann.backstage.army/
  • While announcing your Backstage on social media, you should provide the link to your backstage.army website asking your fans to fill out the form so that fans can start applying to become a part of your Backstage.
  • Once you approve the fans’ request, fans receive a text message from the Backstage team with link to download the Backstage app and a special 1 time use only invite code for each approved fan using which they can join your Backstage.
How will the weekly, monthly and quarterly prizes be calculated?
Weekly Prizes
  • Each week starting week 3 of February 2022, we will be announcing new weekly winners for all prizes in this segment.
  • Every creator has a fair chance to win cash prizes every week since the weekly leaderboard refreshes every week and points don’t get added up from the previous week or weeks.

The weekly prize categories will be

  • Most fans joined/week - If you have the most no of fans joining your Backstage for that week compared to other Backstages, you will win this weekly prize.
  • Most coin earn events/week - If your Backstage has the highest overall no of activities through which your fans earn your creator coins compared to other Backstages, you will win this weekly prize. As mentioned above, fans earn your creator coins by doing activities like
    • Commenting to your posts
    • Reacting to your posts
    • Participating in a challenge or a hype-link which you have posted
    • Receiving an upvote on one of their comments and many more activities like this.
  • Most coin spend events/week - If your Backstage has the highest overall no of activities by fans spending your creator coins by unlocking exclusive perks or posts from you, compared to other Backstages, you will win this weekly prize.
  • Most coin spend events/fan/week - Here we measure the number of ‘unlock’ activities (spending coins to unlock an exclusive perk or a post from you) performed by an average fan in your Backstage.
  • Most % fans retained from the previous week - The % of fans who were active the previous week and continue to remain active in the current week. e.g. - if there were 100 fans active last week (performed at least 1 activity- upvoting, commenting, reacting to your posts etc), and out of these 100, 80 fans were active this week, then the % of fans retained from last week is 80%. The Backstage getting the most % fans retained each week will win this weekly prize.
  • Note - Weekly leaderboard clock resets at 12 AM GMT every week

Monthly Prizes

  • First of each month starting March 2022, we will be announcing new monthly winners for all prizes in this segment.
  • Every creator has a fair chance to win cash prizes every month since the monthly leaderboard refreshes every month and points don’t get added up from the previous month or months.

  • The monthly leaderboard winners will be ranked based on an aggregate of these metrics

    • Most fans joined/month
    • Most coin earn events/month
    • Most coin spend events/month
    • Most coin earn spend events/fan/month
    • Most % of fans retained from the first week of each month

Quarterly Prizes

  • The winners for the quarterly prizes will be announced on May 15th 2022 with quarterly leaderboard winners can be ranked based on an aggregate of these

    • Most fans joined over 3 months
    • Most coin earn events over 3 months
    • Most coin spend events over 3 months
    • Most coin spend events/fan over 3 months
    • Most % of fans retained from the second week of February
What if I join midway into the program?
  • Don’t worry! We have got your backs. You can enroll into the Creator Partner Program until May 1st 2022.
  • If you are joining in the middle of the week/month, you will be eligible for the weekly/monthly prizes starting that week up until the end of the program on May 7th 2022.
  • For any fixed incentive, your fixed incentive for the month will get calculated on a pro rata basis.
What are creator coins, how can fans earn and spend these coins in my Backstage?
  • Fans earn your Creator Coins for participating and doing activities in your Backstage.
  • Fun fact 🤩 - You can name your Creator Coins which your fans will earn.

  • These coins are virtual coins which fans earn for activities like -

    • Commenting to your posts
    • Reacting to your posts
    • Participating in a challenge or a hype-link which you have posted
    • Receiving an upvote on one of their comments and many more activities like this
  • You can also define how many coins do fans earn for each of the above actions in your Backstage.
  • The creator coins which fans earn in your Backstage gets stored in their wallets.

  • These **coins** can later be spent by **fans to redeem for exclusive perks** which you can create within the app. These exclusive perks could be any of the following things you can create as a digital download -

    • Offer Exclusives, behind the scenes, or an early access content to your fans like a pre released YouTube video.
    • An E-book, an audio file or any digital file which your fans can download.
    • An exclusive link which allows your fans to book a Zoom group call with you.
    • Exclusive perks is completely customisable, and you can offer any file or anything with a link.
  • Starting sometime in February 2022, apart from hosting exclusive perks, you can also create locked posts which will appear in your Backstage feed.
  • Fans can also unlock these locked posts by spending Creator Coins.
How and when will I get paid as a creator when I win something?

  • For weekly and monthly prizes, we will release a payout to winning creators on the last day of the month, either via Paypal or a bank transfer [based on the preferred method of the winners].

    • In some scenarios bank payment transfers can take longer than expected. In those cases, you can expect the payment of the weekly and monthly prizes before the 5th of the next month
  • For the quarterly prize, we will release a payout to the winning creators on or before May 15th 2022 either via Paypal or a bank transfer [based on the preferred method of the winners]
Can I invite my other creator friends to participate in this program?
  • Absolutely yes! We hope that Backstage becomes the best place for you and your fans to hangout and that you spread the word about Backstage to your other creator friends who can host their fans on Backstage.
  • We will pay you $500 if a new creator with over 100k followers you referred to us joins the Backstage Partner Program.
How can I leave the program in the middle if I want to?
  • We will be sad to see you go away ☹️, but if you think Backstage is not a product for you and your fans, you can leave the partner program whenever you want to - no strings attached!

What if I do not have 100k followers? Can I still take part in the creator partner program?

Of course, you can! Even if you don’t have 100k followers, you are still 100% eligible for the engagement incentive with weekly / monthly and quarterly prizes.

What if I am not amongst the first 50 creators with 100k followers? Can I still participate?

What are some of the recommended things I should do to win the prizes?
  • Create a welcome message to invite fans to join your backstage with a link to your backstage.army website
  1. Include a shoutout on a public Youtube video inviting fans to join Backstage
  2. Post a message on your Patreon feed inviting fans to join Backstage if you have a Patreon community
  3. Post a text message on Youtube Community tab inviting fans to join Backstage
  4. Post a video message on additional social media platforms apart from YouTube and Patreon inviting fans to join Backstage community - could be Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Post about activities happening inside your Backstage on social media platforms
  1. Post a message on social media platforms announcing a new challenge or a hype-link mission which you have launched in your Backstage
  2. Post a message on social media platforms announcing progress of existing challenge or hype-link before it ends inviting fans to come participate
  3. Post a message on social media platforms announcing the winners of concluded challenges and hype-links and inviting other fans to participate in the next one
  4. Highlight interesting activities, comments or engagements happening inside Backstage to entice more folks to join
  5. Highlight and give a shoutout to top fans of the week or month
  • Be active inside your Backstage to keep your fans engaged and your community alive
  1. Post at least 1 new challenge and a hype-link mission every week for creating opportunities for fans to win something every week
  2. Post 3-5 posts a week in your Backstage to keep the engagement alive
  3. Highlight and give a shoutout to top fans of the week or month
  4. Create locked posts for giving fans the opportunity to spend the creator coins they have earned in your Backstage
  5. Make sure you reply to your fan’s comments - fans seem to really like that 🙂
  6. Let fans know about the incentive program and motivate them to be more active and promise to reward them with coins
